About Sharon & Peter Garner
Sharon & Peter Garner purchased 27 Lake Road, Keswick-on-Derwentwater in 2005 after the sale of Lakeside Holiday Park, Keswick. Peter co-owned Lakeside and Sharon & Peter successfully managed this 5 Star self catering holiday park business for over 13 years achieving Bronze, Silver & Gold David Bellamy Conservation Awards and an Excellent award from the English Tourism Council.
Sharon & Peter bring their past tourism and self catering experience to 27 Lake Road which they book, manage and service personally. Now also running Burnside a 4 Star Silver Award B&B (see navigation bar link) in Keswick they are less than 2 minutes drive away from the cottage should their assistance be required.
Sharon is a born & bred Cumbrian living in Threlkeld at the foot of Blencathra until she married Peter and moved to Keswick in 1988. Peter spent most of his boyhood holidays in the Lake District and moved to Keswick permanently in 1986. Both have a wealth of knowledge on places to eat, attractions, walks, mountain bike routes, bird & wildlife hotspots which they are only too pleased to share with their cottage guests.
