27 Lake Road is an excellent self catering base for exploring Keswick, the Northern Fells of the Lake District National Park and the Lakes more generally.
There is a good Tourist Information Centre located in the ground floor of Moot Hall in Keswick's Market Square less than 2 minutes walk from the cottage with a comprehensive range of tourist information and very helpful staff.
Keswick has a good range of facilities for week, week-end and short break self catering visitors. There is a large Booths supermarket 5 minutes walk from the cottage and an 'Open all Hours' within 150m on St John Street near Keswick's cinema.
All the major banks are located in the Market Square along with a Post Office, Internet Cafes, Mountain Bike Hire etc. If you have any special requirements or interests please feel free to contact us without obligation.
