The Cottage, Keswick
27 Lake Road is a large 4 Star self-catering cottage furnished and equipped to a high standard.
Bedrooms - There are 5 bedrooms; two double en-suite bed rooms with loo, shower and wash basin, 2 doubles with wash basins & adjacent bathroom and a twin bed room. One of the double en-suite bed rooms also has a single bed making bed space for up to 11 adults.
Bed linen is included in my rental charge and all beds are made and ready to use on arrival. I have a cot & high chair available or request at no extra charge. Please note I don't supply bed linen for the cot.
Bathroom - There is a bathroom on the first floor with loo, bath & basin and a cloakroom with with loo and hand basin on the ground floor. All hand basins have complimentary liquid soap dispensers.
Kitchen - The cottage kitchen is fully equipped with range cooker, microwave, full fridge, full freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer. All cutlery, saucepans etc. required for a party of up to 11 is provided including dish cloths, dishwasher tablets, bin liners etc.
Dining Room - A rustic pine dining room can accommodate up to 11 people and is a great place for enjoying a meal with family or friends. The dining room has a CD/MP3 player for some accompanying rhythms and old favourites Scrabble, Monopoly are provided too.
Living Room - The living room has good quality leather and fabric sofa's and armchairs (supplied by Youngs of Keswick) centred around a gas fired stove and green slate hearth and is a perfect place to relax with a glass of wine or beer after a stroll to Derwentwater or Friars Crag.
There is a new 32" flat screen TV + DVD player that can take games consoles PS3's etc. wall mounted over the mantle piece
Patio - To the fornt of the cottage is a gravelled terrace with two 6 seater picnic benches ideal for outdoor meals barbeques or drinks in the fresh air.
